The Advantages of Podcasting

  • Connect With & Grow Your Community

    • Podcasts are a very natural way to connect with your community and let them into your world

    • If they’re just reading your website, and looking at your social media feed, they may never get an opportunity to really get to know the leaders of your organization

    • With podcasting, your audience will get a sense of what it is like to hang out with you and why they should support what you’re doing

    • The clips that we will take from each episode and upload to social media are worth it on their own!

  • It's Easier Than Ever To Get Started

    • You do not need any public speaking experience or technical experience to get started

    • If you can have a casual conversation over zoom you can officially get started as a podcast host

    • Remember, as a host you will be asking the questions in order to get your guest talking, so you don’t need a script or anything. The more natural, the better

    • You can divide up podcast hosting duties within your team. If you are doing a weekly podcast you can having a rotating cast of 4 - 6 hosts to divide up the work

    • All you have to do is show up for a scheduled zoom call and we take care of all of the technical work!

  • Video Clips For Social Media

    • From each recorded episode we will edit together clips for your social media channels

    • This alone is easily worth the effort of doing a regular podcast over zoom

    • You will have regular content for social media with your hosts and guests speaking naturally on camera about things that they care about, instead of highly scripted videos

    • Podcast clips are one of the most popular forms of social content

  • Offer Value To Your Guests & Open New Doors

    • If you are trying to have a conversion with a leader in your field, they will probably be more likely to jump on a podcast with you for an hour than a private conversation

    • By doing a podcast with you, they are getting something out of it as well. If you offer to send them clips from the podcast that they can upload to their social media, you are helping them create content as well

    • By having guests on from various fields, you are expanding your audience. People who are fans of your guest will discover your podcast when your guest uploads clips to their social

  • Sponsorship Opportunities

    • Podcasting is a unique form of content because there actually is an avenue to make your production budget back in sponsorships

    • You can offer a number of things including placing a sponsorship badge on your podcast thumbnail, reading an ad for your sponsor at the beginning of the podcast, and also putting a sponsorship budge on the social clips that go up on all social channels

    • For example the per episode cost for the weekly podcast for a full year is currently as low as $480 per episode including social clips. If you charge $200 per episode for sponsors you’re already almost halfway to earning your production budget back in sponsorships, and you’re getting a professionally edited podcast and social clips

    • As your podcast grows in popularity, you will have opportunities to operate your podcast at a profit through sponsorships

    • If you already have a large social following you may be able to operate it at a profit right away!

  • We Stick to a Schedule

    • Just like with anything in life, working out, eating healthy, we have to be consistent to see results

    • If you say to yourself and your team “maybe we’ll start a podcast at some point.” When is “some point” exactly? And who on your team is going to add recording and editing your podcast to their workload?

    • By working with us, you’re working with professional editors that can get this done quickly, stick to the schedule, and keep this whale thing on track

    • Sometimes for specific types of tasks, it really helps to work with somebody outside of your direct team
