You only need a few pieces of simple gear to get started.
As of right now, I am using a very basic setup. Just a phone tripod, tripod head, and the iPhone SE. This is likely all you need! As I try out different pieces of gear, I will record videos demonstrating gear, and share them on my LinkedIn page, YouTube, and through my email newsletter, so stay tuned for that!

Gorillapod
As far as I can tell, Joby makes the best phone tripod. The Gorillapod series is very popular with vloggers, and will suit our needs just fine for recording key messaging oriented videos at home and at the office. I have the Gorillapod 1K kit with a Neewer smartphone mount attached to it.

Phone Tripod Head
I currently am using the Neewer tripod head from Amazon attached to the Joby Gorillapod 1K, and it is working well for my needs to far!
